What share of the sector’s assets do small charities have?
In 2018/19, small charities had 23% of the sectors’ total assets.
Of which, charities with an income of £100k and under had just 5% of the net total assets, compared to charities with an income of £100k – £1m, who had 18% of total assets.
Definitions
We define a small charity as a voluntary or community organisation with an annual income of less than £1m.
