- In 2018/19, small charities were more likely to receive the highest proportion of their income from the general public, compared to charities with an income of over £1m.
- Charities with an income of under £100k received two-thirds (63%) of their total income from the public, compared to just under half (48%) for medium charities.
- Charities with an income of £100k – £1m receive nearly twice as much from the government than charities with an income of under £100k (23% & 12% respectively).
